আমরা মনে করি, মানুষ হিসেবে আমাদের প্রত্যেকেরই কিছু মানবিক ও সামাজিক দায়িত্ববোধ আছে। আর তা হচ্ছে এই সমাজের মানুষের জন্য কিছু ভালো কাজ করে যাওয়া। আমরা জানি, বর্তমান বাস্তবতায় পুরো পৃথিবী একটি বড় রকমের চ্যালেঞ্জিং সময় অতিক্রম করছে। এই পৃথিবীর পুরো মানবজাতিকে আজ নানাবিধ জড়া-ব্যাধি, অজানা ভাইরাসের সংক্রমণ সহ প্রতিকূল এক প্রাকৃতিক পরিবেশে বাঁচা-মরার অসহনীয় ঝুঁকি নিয়ে প্রতিদিন এগিয়ে যেতে হচ্ছে। জলবায়ু পরিবর্তনের ক্রমাগত ক্ষতিকর প্রভাব, গ্রীনহাউজ গ্যাসের প্রভাবে ওজনস্তরে ফাটল এবং তৎপরবর্তী সূর্যের অতি বেগুনি ক্ষতিকর রশ্মির প্রভাবে জীববৈচিত্র বিপন্ন হয়ে যাওয়ার আশংকায় আজ আমাদের প্রাণ ও প্রকৃতি দারুণ হুমকির মুখে। একদিকে যেমন মানবসৃষ্ট কারণে বনাঞ্চল ধ্বংস হচ্ছে, অন্যদিকে অপরিকল্পিতভাবে গড়ে ওঠা শিল্পায়ন ও উন্নয়নের নামে দূষিত হচ্ছে পরিবেশ। ফলশ্রুতিতে বায়ুমন্ডলের উষ্ণতা বাড়ছে ক্রমেই। বরফ গলে সমুদ্রপৃষ্ঠের উচ্চতা বাড়ছে এবং বন্যা, খরা, ঝর, জলোচ্ছ্বাস ও পাহাড় ধ্বসে বিনষ্ট হচ্ছে পরিবেশের ভারসাম্য। পরিবর্তিত জলবায়ুর নেতিবাচক প্রভাবে লণ্ডভণ্ড হয়ে যাছে আমাদের চারপাশের প্রকৃতি ও জীব-জগৎ। আর এভাবেই মানবসৃষ্ট অসংখ্য কারণে জীববৈচিত্রের টিকে থাকবার ক্ষেত্রে সৃষ্টি হচ্ছে বড় ধরনের হুমকি। এমতাবস্থায়, আমাদের এই ধরিত্রীকে রক্ষা এবং সুস্থ্য ও সুন্দর বাসযোগ্য একটি সবুজ পৃথিবী গড়ে তুলবার ক্ষেত্রে লক্ষনীয়ভাবে তেমন বড় কোন উদ্যোগ যথেষ্টভাবে দৃশ্যমানও নয়। এমন একটি অনিবার্য পরিস্থিতিতে “ষড়ঋতু হর্টিকালচার” সামাজিক আন্দোলনের মাধ্যমে বিশ্ববাসীকে সচেতন করার প্রয়াসে একটি সবুজ পৃথিবী গড়ে তোলার আহবান জানাচ্ছে। বৃহৎ এই ডিজিটাল ওয়েব প্ল্যাটফর্মটি মহৎ সেই কর্মযজ্ঞেরই একটি অংশমাত্র। আমাদের শ্লোগান হচ্ছে- “গাছ লাগান, পরিবেশ বাঁচান। এসো ভাই, এসো বোন। গড়ে তুলি আন্দোলন, এই ধরিত্রীকে করি সবুজায়ন। সবুজায়নেই প্রাণ, চারা গাছ লাগান এবং এই ধরিত্রীকে বাঁচান।” সবুজ পৃথিবী গড়ে তোলার প্রত্যয়ে “ষড়ঋতু হর্টিকালচার” আমাদের চারপাশের প্রকৃতি, মানুষ ও অন্যান্য প্রাণীকূলের জীবন বিপন্ন হওয়ার সমূহ হুমকি থেকে কিভাবে রক্ষা করা যায়, সেই সম্পর্কিত বিষয়ে ব্যাপক জনসচেতনতা ও গণজাগরণ সৃষ্টি করার লক্ষ্যে ইতিবাচকভাবে মানবিক দৃষ্টিভঙ্গির দায়িত্ববোধ থেকে সামাজিক আন্দোলন গড়ে তোলার মাধ্যমে কাজ করে যেতে বদ্ধপরিকর। সেই লক্ষ্য ও উদ্দেশ্য বাস্তবায়নে ডিজিটাল এই ওয়েব প্ল্যাটফর্মটি সবুজ শিক্ষার পাঠশালা হিসাবে নিবেদিতভাবে কাজ করে যাচ্ছে। এখানে পৃথিবীর সকল প্রকার গাছের চারা উৎপাদন ও রোপণ পদ্ধতি, শখের বাগান করে আর্থিকভাবে লাভবান তথা স্বাবলম্বী হওয়া, সকল প্রকার গাছের চারার চাষাবাদ ও পরিচর্যা, আগাছা দমন ও পরিষ্কার-পরিচ্ছন্নতা, রোগ-বালাই তথা পোকামাকর নিয়ন্ত্রণ এবং দমন ইত্যাদি বিষয়ে কৃষি শিক্ষামূলক তথ্য প্রচার ও সরবরাহের মাধ্যমে বিশ্ববাসীকে আরও বেশী সবুজায়ন তথা গাছ লাগানোর মাধ্যমে কৃষি কাজের প্রতি উৎসাহিত ও উদ্ধুদ্ধকরণে প্রয়োজনীয় সকল কাজ করে যাচ্ছে। অতপর উৎপাদিত সকল প্রকার কৃষি সামগ্রী যথা-ফুল, ফল, ফসল, কাঠ, মধু, তৈল, মসলা, ওষুধি, রুপ, সৌন্দর্য, প্রসাধন ও সুগন্ধি উপাদান ইত্যাদি কিভাবে আহরণ ও সংরক্ষণ করতে হয়, সেই সম্পর্কেও বিশদভাবে কেবলমাত্র শিক্ষণীয়মূলক তথ্য সরবরাহ করছে। একটি সবুজ পৃথিবীর জন্য সামাজিক আন্দোলন গড়ে তোলার মাধ্যমে বিশ্ববাসীর মাঝে সবুজায়নের প্রয়োজনীয়তা সম্পর্কে সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধি এবং তা সকলের মাঝে ছড়িয়ে দেওয়াই হচ্ছে ডিজিটাল এই ওয়েব মাধ্যমটির অভীষ্ট লক্ষ্য ও আসল উদ্দেশ্য।

As a result, the temperature of the atmosphere is gradually increasing. Melting ice is causing sea levels to rise and the balance of the environment is being destroyed by floods, droughts, floods, tidal waves and landslides. Due to the negative impact of climate change, the nature and living world around us has been devastated. And thus, due to numerous man-made causes, there is a great threat to the survival of biodiversity. In such a situation, no major initiative is visible enough to protect our earth and build a green world that is healthy and beautiful to live in. In such an inevitable situation, “Sororitu Horticulture” calls for a green world in an effort to make the world aware through social movements.
