আমাদের খুবই পরিচিত একটা ফুল হলো বাগান বিলাস, এটি একদল ফুলের গাছ যা দেখতে ঝোপের মতো। আমদের দেশের মোটামুটি প্রায় সব জায়গায় এই গাছ চোখে পরে, বিশেষ করে বাড়ির সামনের গেট অথবা পার্কে বিভিন্ন রঙের হয়ে থাকে এই গাছের ফুল যেমন- লাল, কমলা, হলুদ, সাদা, গোলাপী ইত্যাদি। বাগান বিলাস এর বৈজ্ঞানিক নাম বুগেনভিলিয়া স্পেকটেবিলিস (Bougainvillea Spectabilis)  এই বহুরঙা ফুলের উদ্ভিদটি এসেছে দক্ষিণ আমেরিকা মহাদেশ থেকে। দক্ষিন আমেরিকার এই ফুলের গাছটিকে এখন আর বিদেশী গাছ বলে মনেই হওয়া… আমরা এই ফুলকে বাগান বিলাস ফুল, কাগজ ফুল, কাগজি ফুল প্রভিতি নামে চিনি।

 

বাগান বিলাস ফুল চাষের পদ্ধতিঃ

 

এই ফুল চাষ করা অন্যান্য ফুলের থেকে খুব আলাদা। বুগেনভিলিয়া স্পেকটেবিলিস (Bougainvillea Spectabilis) ফুল চাষের প্রথম ধাপ হল ঠিক স্থানে গাছ বাঁচানো। স্থানটি উজ্জ্বল ও পরিষ্কার হওয়া উচিত। এই গাছের বৃদ্ধির জন্য পর্যাপ্ত সূর্যালোক প্রয়োজন। সুন্দর এবং সাফল্যমূলক ফুল উৎপন্ন করার জন্য ভালো ড্রেনেজ ব্যবস্থা থাকা খুবই জরুরি।

বাগান বিলাস ফুল চাষের জন্য নিয়মিত সেচের সাথে উপযুক্ত সারের ব্যবহার করা উচিত। গাছটির বৃদ্ধির জন্য অন্যান্য বেশিরভাগ গাছের চেয়ে বেশি সার প্রয়োজন। শেষে, রোগ ও কীট নিয়ন্ত্রণের জন্য যে সাবধানতা নেওয়া উচিত তা মনে রাখতে হবে। এই উপায়গুলি মেনে চললে সমৃদ্ধ, সুন্দর এবং স্বাস্থ্যকর বাগান বিলাস ফুল গাছ উৎপন্ন করা যাবে।

 

বাগান বিলাস ফুল গাছের যত্নঃ

 

এই গাছের পরিচর্যা এবং রক্ষণ করা সহজ, তবে গাছটি সুস্থ এবং জীবন্ত রাখার জন্য কিছু বিষয় মনে রাখা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।

মাটি পরিবর্তনঃ

 

মার্চ থেকে অক্টোবর পর্যন্ত প্রতি চার মাস অন্তর বছরে দু ‘বার মাটি পরিবর্তন করা উচিত। মাটি প্রস্তুত করতে, ৩০% পলি মাটি, ৩০% ভালো গোবরের সার, ১৫% ভার্মিকম্পোস্ট, ২০% বোন মিল এবং ৫% পটাশ একসাথে মিশ্রিত করতে হবে। মাটি পরিবর্তন করার পর ৪ দিন অপেক্ষা করতে হবে।

পোকামাকড় দমনঃ

 

হোয়াইটফ্লাই এবং গ্রিনফ্লাই হল দুই ধরনের পোকা যা বাগান বিলাস গাছ খেতে পছন্দ করে। প্রতি দুই বা তিন দিন অন্তর, পোকামাকড় চলে না যাওয়া পর্যন্ত সাবান জল দিয়ে পাতার উপরের এবং নীচের অংশে স্প্রে করতে হবে।

আগাছা এবং ছাঁটাই পরিষ্কারঃ

ভাঙা এবং অসুস্থ শাখাগুলি কেটে ফেলা দরকার যাতে উদ্ভিদটি স্বাস্থ্যকর উপায়ে বৃদ্ধি পেতে পারে। ডাল কাটার জন্য ধারালো ছুরি ব্যবহার করা উচিত। কাটার সময় খেয়াল রাখা উচিত যাতে ডালপালা ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত না হয়। এটি উদ্ভিদকে ছত্রাকের আক্রমণে ঝুঁকিপূর্ণ করে তুলতে পারে। যেহেতু গাছের নিচে বিষাক্ত আগাছা জন্মায়, তাই আপনার সতর্ক হওয়া উচিত যাতে এর স্বাভাবিক বৃদ্ধি ব্যাহত না হয়।

হরমোনের ব্যবহারঃ

 

বুগেনভিলিয়া স্পেকটেবিলিস (Bougainvillea Spectabilis)   ফুল গাছের উন্নতির জন্য আমরা সাধারণত রুটিং হরমোন ব্যবহার করা হয়। এই হরমোনগুলির মধ্যে ইন্ডোল-৩-বিউটিরিক এসিড (IBA) এবং ন্যাফথালিনাসেটিক এসিড (NAA) অন্যতম। এই হরমোনগুলি গাছের কাটা স্থানে প্রয়োগ করা হলে নতুন রুট জন্মায় এবং তা দ্বারা নতুন গাছ তৈরি হয় ও গাছটি বৃদ্ধি পায়।

আলোঃ

রৌদ্রপূর্ণ, সূর্যালোকিত স্থানে গাছটি রাখতে হবে। এটি কিছু ছায়া সহ্য করতে পারে, কিন্তু অতিরিক্ত নয়।

পানিঃ

বাগান বিলাস ফুল গাছে নিয়মিতভাবে পানি দিতে হবে, কিন্তু অতিরিক্ত পানি দেয়া হতে বিরত থাকতে হবে। পানি দেয়ার মাঝে মাঝে একটু অপেক্ষা করতে হবে এবং মাটি একটু শুকিয়ে নিতে হবে।

Bougainvillea is a well-known flower; it is a type of flowering plant that resembles a canopy. This plant is almost everywhere in our country, especially near gates or in parks. The flowers of this plant come in various colors such as red, orange, yellow, white, pink, and so on. The scientific name of Bougainvillea is bougainvillea spectabilis. This multi-colored flower plant has come from the South American continent. Nowadays, this plant from South America is considered an exotic plant. We know this flower by various names like Bougainvillea, paper flower, or paper-like flower.

 

Bougainvillea Cultivation Method:

 

Cultivating Bougainvillea flowers is quite different from other flowers. The first step in Bougainvillea cultivation is to plant the shrub in the right place. The location should be bright and clean. Sufficient sunlight is necessary for the growth of this plant. Proper drainage is very important for producing beautiful and successful flowers. It is advisable to use appropriate fertilizer along with regular watering for Bougainvillea cultivation. More fertilizer is needed for the growth of this plant compared to most other plants. Care for Bougainvillea Plants:

Soil Change:

It’s advisable to change the soil twice a year, every four months from March to October. To prepare the soil, mix together 30% loamy soil, 30% well-rotted manure, 15% vermicompost, 20% bone meal, and 5% potash. After changing the soil, let it sit for 4 days before planting.

Pest Control:

Whiteflies and greenflies are two types of insects that like to feed on Bougainvillea plants. Every two or three days, spray the top and bottom parts of the leaves with soapy water until the insects are gone.

 

Pruning and Cleaning:

 

Broken and unhealthy branches need to be pruned to promote healthy growth of the plant. It’s advisable to use a sharp knife for cutting branches. When cutting, care should be taken not to damage the branches, as this can make the plant susceptible to fungal attacks. Since poisonous weeds often grow under the plant, it’s important to be cautious not to interfere with its natural growth.

Use of Hormones:

 

For the growth of Bougainvillea flowers, we typically use rooting hormones. Among these hormones, Indole-3-butyric acid (IBA) and Naphthaleneacetic acid (NAA) are prominent. When applied to the cut ends of the plant, these hormones stimulate the growth of new roots, leading to the formation of new plants and the growth of the existing plant.

Light:

Bougainvillea plants should be kept in bright, sunny locations. They can tolerate some shade, but not excessive shade.

Water:

Bougainvillea plants should be watered regularly, but care should be taken not to overwater. It’s advisable to wait a bit between watering’s and let the soil dry out slightly.
